Giving from your IRA
If you are 70½ or older, a qualified charitable distribution moves money straight from your IRA to DNI and can count toward your required minimum distribution. Ask your IRA custodian in writing for the amount you want to give, then tell us it is coming so we can watch for it and thank you. Your custodian or the IRS can confirm whether you qualify.
