Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Disciple Nations International Ministries, Inc. (“DNI”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. DNI is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, EIN 46-4099146. We run no advertising, we do not sell or rent anyone’s information, and we collect only what we need to reply to you and to send what you asked for.
Collection of your personal information
Almost everything we hold about you is something you typed into a form on this site. Our forms ask for some combination of:
- your name and email address
- your location, when a form asks for it, and only as much as you choose to give (for example a city and country)
- the message, prayer request, sign-up choice or material request you send us
Our web host also keeps ordinary server logs, which record things like the IP address and browser type of visitors. Those logs exist for security and troubleshooting. We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details or donor financial records on this website — see “How donations are handled” below.
Use of your personal information
We use what you send us to reply to you, to send the newsletter, prayer guide, book or training material you asked for, to keep an internal record of our correspondence, and to run and protect the website. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use automated decision-making.
Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share our mailing list with other organizations. We share information only with the service providers that make this site work — our web host, Google Workspace for email, and Donorbox and PayPal for donations — and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people connected to our ministry.
How donations are handled
Donations made through the Give page are processed by Donorbox, whose giving form is embedded on that page, or by PayPal, which opens on PayPal’s own website. Your card or bank details go directly to those companies. They are never entered on, transmitted through, or stored on this website, and DNI never sees your full card number. Donorbox and PayPal each handle that information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. DNI receives the donation record itself — your name, contact details and the amount — so that we can acknowledge your gift and issue receipts.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored in this website’s database, hosted on our web host’s servers in the United States, and are also emailed to our office. Our office email runs on Google Workspace. Donation records are held by Donorbox and PayPal as described above. We use no other third-party marketing or data platform.
Use of cookies
This website sets no analytics cookies and no advertising or retargeting cookies. We have no analytics, tag manager or advertising software installed. A visitor who simply reads the site is not tracked by us.
Two things on the site are served by other companies and may set cookies of their own when you use them: the Donorbox giving form on the Give page, and video, which we play through YouTube’s no-cookie player so that YouTube does not set a tracking cookie unless you press play. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as they are useful to the ministry relationship, and donation records for as long as US charitable record-keeping and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can stop hearing from us at any time, and you can email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. These choices are yours wherever you live. Write to office@dninternational.org and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security of your personal information
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, is hosted on a managed commercial host, and administrative access is limited to the few people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable care of what you entrust to us and we keep the amount we hold small on purpose.
Children under thirteen
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other organizations, including social media, booksellers and our payment providers. Once you follow a link you are on their site and subject to their privacy practices, not ours.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted on the page itself.
